In San Rafael, Sew Marin's machines replicate the hand-embroidered poppy design developed by Kelsey Ruggaard. Her design was carefully recreated by Sew Marin's founder, John Zerbe, who oversees production on each hat.
Patches are sewn on at Tommy Breeze HQ in Fairfax.
