Tommy Breeze hats came into being because Breeze had lent a hat to a friend and he needed a new one. He couldn’t find one he liked.

Six years later, Breeze is making a living creating specialized hats in Marin County. That means now every decision is intentional as he builds his brand.

The 29-year-old launched his hat company named in Fairfax, where he grew up.

“I have a really deep love for Marin scenery and I love trying to capture it,”

"Tommy Breeze is an actual guy who lives out in California. He creates art that’s inspired by his favorite spots in the outdoors, and then these become patches (and stickers as well). While you can buy the patches on their own, they also come on a wide variety of hats. You may have your favorite style, but for being out in the sun, I tend to like the trucker style because they offer some sun protection but also a lot of ventilation to cool off the braincase."Listen to the podcast here
